Bowers Beach was one of the earliest settlements along the Delaware Bay, originally named Whitwell’s Delight in the 1600’s. You’ll find plenty of open space along the shoreline in Bowers Beach to simply relax in, or to enjoy recreational activities along the water.
It’s a great spot for you to spot migrating shorebirds and horseshoe crabs, or throw a line in the water. Four seasons a year, this beach and its surrounding water will provide you with amazing sights and sounds!
