Ted Harvey Conservation Area consists of four large land tracts totaling almost 2,700 acres near the historic state capital of Dover. You’ll enjoy the wildlife viewing, bird watching and natural trails.

A fishing pond with an accessible fishing pier is available for the exclusive use by people with physical disabilities. There is a public port-a-potty available at the fishing pond.

From the Ted Harvey Conservation Area you are a short drive from the St. Jones Center for Estuarine Studies, its surrounding nature preserve, and the John Dickinson Plantation.

Logistics:
A Conservation Access Pass is required for any registered motor vehicle that’s used to access the site. Parking is mainly on the side of roads within the conservation area.

Hours:
The wildlife area is open from dawn until dusk.

Logan Tract: From the intersection of Route 9 & US 113, just south of Dover, take Road 68 (Kitts Hummock Road) to the east. Turn right (S) at the brown sign reading, “Ted Harvey Conservation Area – Logan Lane Tract” on the right (S) side of the road
