The Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village, which are located roughly 5 miles west of the Delaware Bayshore Byway, represent Delaware’s largest and most important industry. Through exhibits and associated programs, you will be educated, informed and immersed in this vital sector of Delaware’s market economy.
In the museum you will not only learn about the agriculture industry in Delaware, you can visit Loockerman Landing – a restored village that depicts life in a rural Delaware village in the 1890s. This village features a General Store, a farmhouse where the midday meal is being prepared, a School House, Train Station, a Church, Blacksmith and Wheel-Wright Shops, a Mill and a Barbershop.
