First State Heritage Park is Delaware’s first urban park. The park is surrounded by historic buildings and cultural sites, and features live events, reenactments, and local tours.
In addition to the landscaped green space, you can visit the Welcome Center and its rotating galleries and exhibits. The Center is located nearby at 121 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Dover, DE 19901 and offers free lot parking and locals to inform you of all the nearby historical sites. Many of these First State Heritage affiliated exhibits and locations offer free admission; check the First State Heritage Park official webpage for site-specific details.
