Milford Museum

About The Milford Museum

Located in the City of Milford’s old Post Office building, the Milford Museum contains a comprehensive collection of artifacts, galleries, and historical accounts from Milford and Delaware as a whole.

The Milford Museum consists of permanent exhibitions, such as local military history, shipbuilding, baseball, and Victorian era objects. In April 2022, an exhibit highlighting the contributions that African Americans have made to the growth of Milford, opened, providing a fuller picture of the town’s past. In addition to the permanent exhibits, the Museum hosts events and temporary exhibitions as well as a library of historical books.

Whether you’re a Milford resident, descendant, or visitor, the Milford Museum is your one-stop shop for history in the region. If you want even more Milford history, see the Milford Museum website for online exhibits such as agriculture, hospitals, and railroads.
