Parson Thorne Mansion

About The Parson Thorne Mansion

Built in the 1730’s on over 200 acres of land, the Parson Thorne Mansion (also known as Silver Hill) is Milford’s most accurately restored Georgian style home.

Home to several notable members of Milford’s elite, the Mansion contains influences from its original erection in the 1730’s to its remodel in 1879. The main brick structure and several outbuildings have been preserved in early 1800’s style, including interior furnishings and artifacts authentic to the grounds.

The Mansion is an informative and impressive destination for history buffs, architecture enthusiasts, and those who want to learn Milford history through the eyes of the elite.
